Our director Anil Tokur's awarded short movie tells the story of a child who grew up on the shadow of kites at Mesopotamia and people who follow him. ‘If we had wings, there wouldn’t be kites. We belong to sky as much the earth. Every kite you hold tight so they don’t get lost touch to Sahmeran, Arabian Nights stories and narrow streets at Mardin. Children live their own stories with their kites just like the kid inside me who growing with my kites.'
